We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Inpatient Rehabilitation team at Colleton Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the overall success of our department.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain overall accountability for assigned patients, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
- Assist patients with exercise and provide proper skin care to prevent skin breakdown and ensure proper positioning to prevent further immobility.
- Coordinate with the rehab therapy team to provide acute medical management and improve patients' loss of or impairment in functional skills such as mobility, cognition, activities of daily living, and communication.
- Administer medications in accordance with physician orders and instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment plans.
- Must be a graduate from an accredited school of Nursing: Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher is required.
- Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state which you practice and/or hold an active Compact/Multi-State RN license.
- A current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider is required.
