POSITION SUMMARY


Under the supervision of the Regional Grain Improvement Manager, this role is essential for the safe and efficient handling of grain products. The individual will focus on enhancing operational productivity and ensuring the profitability of the organization.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


Engage in all aspects of unloading, loading, and transferring grain products, which may encompass truck and rail operations.


Operate conveyance machinery used in the shipping, receiving, and transferring of grain and its associated safety systems.


Foster positive customer interactions as the initial point of contact with producers.


Project a professional image of the company through actions and personal presentation.


Comprehend grain quality and conditioning standards.


Implement best practices for inventory management.


Ensure the safe and efficient use of materials and machinery.


Maintain equipment, facilities, and other company assets in a safe, organized, and professional manner.


Conduct proper grain grading and blending procedures.


Assist in the maintenance of records and reports to meet regulatory requirements.


Support the Location Manager in managing operational expenses.


Provide assistance to other locations and departments as necessary.


Inspect handling equipment and grain inventory at various heights using ladders.


ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Respond to phone inquiries and greet walk-in customers.

Adhere to the company's Code of Conduct and Compliance Program, as well as Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA, and DOT regulations.

Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience


A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required, along with a minimum of two years of relevant experience or a combination of education and experience that demonstrates industry knowledge, computer skills, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills.
