Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Opportunity in Augusta, ME

Soliant Health is seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for the school year in Augusta, ME. This is an excellent opportunity for an SLP who is committed to helping students achieve their full potential by diagnosing and treating speech and language disorders.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify students' needs and develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Provide therapy to students with speech and language disorders, utilizing evidence-based practices and staying current with best practices and continuing education requirements.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success and maintain accurate records and documentation of student progress.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide expertise on speech and language goals, ensuring that students receive the support they need to succeed.
Qualifications:
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid Maine state license or eligibility for licensure as an SLP.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Previous experience in a school setting is a plus, but not required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
