About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cytotechnologist to join our team at BayCare Health System. As a Cytotechnologist, you will play a critical role in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases by examining cell samples and identifying abnormal cell growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Examine cell samples using microscopes and other equipment to identify abnormal cell growth
  • Prepare and analyze cell samples for diagnostic purposes
  • Collaborate with pathologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
  • Maintain equipment, supplies, and instrumentation to ensure optimal performance
  • Assist in the Cytopreparatory lab as needed
Requirements
  • State of Florida License Clinical Laboratory Personnel - Cytotechnologist
  • Bachelor's in a related field (or certified prior to 1985)
  • Ability to understand medical terminology and use computer skills appropriate to the position
