Sanitation Technician

At Land O'Frost, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Sanitation Technician to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of sanitation and cleanliness in our facilities.

• Perform daily sanitation procedures on all equipment in assigned areas.
• Responsible for cleaning equipment using hazardous chemicals, following established protocols to ensure safety and effectiveness.
• Conduct pre-operational inspections of equipment to ensure compliance with sanitation standards.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized sanitation chemical equipment storage room.
• Monitor and clean non-production areas of the plant as needed.
• Perform swabbing procedures to obtain microbial or bacterial information.

• Set up and operate packaging equipment, including multivacs and T-Sizers.
• Provide supplies for production, including ingredients, clips, and casings.
• Insert mixer lid seals, grinder augers, and comitrol augers.
• Grease comvair plates.

• Able to work in variable temperatures between 30 and 120 degrees.
• Work in a wet environment 100% of the shift.
• Work with dairy or boosted pressure hoses operating from 60 to 175 pounds of pressure for 50% of the shift.
• Lift up to 60 pounds frequently.
• Bend, stoop, squat, push, pull, and turn 50% of the shift.
• Stand 50%, walk 30%, and climb ladders 10% of the shift.
• Must have vision of, or correctable to, 20/20.
• Must not have Acrophobia.

Please note that the ability to wear fall protection is a requirement, and candidates must weigh less than 375 pounds.
