Work Schedule:
Full-time, 12-hour shifts

Your Responsibilities Include:
- Assisting in the completion of medication, supplies, and equipment inventories each shift, restocking as necessary. Maintaining and submitting logs according to departmental protocols while ensuring a clean and organized work environment.
- Keeping the unit ready for operations at all times.
- Utilizing knowledge of service areas to take the most efficient routes to destinations.
- Safely operating emergency vehicles under various weather and emergency conditions, adhering to established safety standards. Communicating any delays or updates effectively to dispatch.
- Reporting any vehicle damage or issues to the supervisor immediately.
- Documenting patient assessments and administering interventions with accurate medication calculations and responses, following departmental protocols and AdventHealth policies.
- Applying specialized knowledge in emergency care for patients of all ages.
- Collaborating effectively as a team member with other healthcare professionals.
- Providing thorough verbal and written documentation for patient handoff and safety.
- Adhering to departmental standard operating procedures (SOPs), treatment protocols, and utilizing available resources.
Qualifications:
The Skills and Experience Required:
- Graduation from a Paramedic program
- One year of patient care experience
- Valid Florida State Licensure as a Paramedic
- Valid Class "E" Florida Driver's License or Commercial Driver's License (CDL), with a driving record compliant with AdventHealth policy
- Completion of Commercial Emergency Vehicle Operator (CEVO) or Emergency Vehicle Operations Course (EVOC)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
