Dishwasher - Part-Time - Greenville SC Convention Center

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team at the Greenville SC Convention Center. As a Dishwasher, you will be responsible for washing and sanitizing all tableware, serving materials, cooking equipment, and small wares. You must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work events as scheduled per business need.
This role offers an hourly wage of $16 and includes benefits such as a 401(k) savings plan and 401(k) matching. Part-time employees are also eligible for one hour of accrued paid leave per 30 hours worked, up to 48 hours per year.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the highest sanitation levels for all items previously used, allowing them to be reused in clean condition, free of any contamination risk.
- Utilize and implement M.S.D.S. criteria, food and product safety, and Food and Beverage Policies and Procedures.
- Remove all trash and maintain loading and receiving areas in safe and clean condition.
- Stock plates, glasses, pots, utensils, and pans after cleaning.
- Clean and sanitize all food service areas and equipment.
Requirements
- Experience working in a casual and/or fine dining atmosphere is helpful.
- A High School diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) is required.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment.
- Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, management staff, and guests in a clear, business-like, and respectful manner, focusing on generating a positive, enthusiastic, and cooperative work environment.
- Possess a valid food handling certificate and alcohol service permit if required by state or federal regulations.
