Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Facilities Maintenance Associate to join our team at Superior Maintenance Co. as a Janitorial Team Member. This role is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our employees and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the overall cleaning and sanitation of facilities, including debris removal and maintaining clean areas.
  • Clean restrooms, including emptying trash receptacles, filling dispensers, sweeping, mopping floors, cleaning glass, sinks, and toilets.
  • Dust mop and detail restrooms.
  • Clean vents and fixtures in restrooms.
  • Dust and clean entrance door thresholds, frames, and edging.
  • Perform other similar and related duties as assigned by the Team Leader.
Requirements
  • High School diploma, General Education Degree (GED) or equivalency preferred, not required.
  • One (1) to three (3) months related experience preferred and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals in English and Spanish.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide two-digit numbers and to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
  • Ability to apply common understanding to carry out uninvolved written and oral instructions and deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
