Job Description

Your role as a Dental Hygienist will involve conducting initial patient screenings, cleaning teeth, and advising patients on oral health and preventative care. You'll also help dentists decide treatments for teeth or gum diseases. As a reliable and trustworthy professional, you'll build trust with patients of all ages.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Ensure patients feel comfortable before their examination
  • Sterilize dental instruments properly
  • Conduct initial mouth screenings and check oral health history
  • Identify conditions like gingivitis, caries, or periodontitis
  • Clean and protect patients' teeth (e.g., remove plaque or apply fluoride)
  • Educate patients on proper teeth care (demonstrate good brushing techniques)
  • Give instructions to patients after operations or other dental procedures
  • Take X-rays or dental impressions
  • Assist dentists with selecting treatments for various diseases
  • Maintain documentation and charts on each patient
  • Monitor supplies

Required Skills and Qualifications

This role requires proven experience as a Dental Hygienist or similar role, a dental hygiene license, and in-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations. You should have excellent communication skills, be patient and friendly, and have attention to detail.
