Job Summary:

Stake Center Locating is seeking an entry-level Utility Locator Technician to join our team. As a Utility Locator Technician, you will be responsible for locating underground utilities, troubleshooting, and marking the ground to promote damage prevention in your community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Think safety first and use provided locate equipment and technology to accurately locate underground utilities.
  • Use a laptop computer to receive, document, and process tickets and communicate effectively with peers, managers, and homeowners.
  • Read maps, interpret blueprints, and determine the best method and sequence for locating.

Qualifications:

Schedule:

Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays, as ticket and production load requires.
