Job SummaryWe are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated caregivers who are certified by the state and possess the necessary skills to provide personalized care to clients in their homes.
Qualifications- Possess a valid driver's license or reliable transportation.
- Demonstrate genuine empathy and understanding towards the needs of the elderly and those requiring medical assistance.
- Ability to effectively communicate, read, and write in English.
- Prior experience and CPR training may be required depending on client needs.
- Exhibit maturity and resilience to handle the demands of the role effectively.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
- Adhere to established policies and procedures outlined by ACT Medical Group.
- Assist clients with personal hygiene tasks such as showers, baths, oral care, and hair and skin care.
- Provide support with toileting needs, including the use of bedpans when necessary.
- Help clients safely move in and out of bed, utilizing appropriate techniques and assistive devices as needed.
- Assist clients with walking, ambulation, and the use of walkers or wheelchairs, if required.
- Prepare and serve meals according to client dietary needs and preferences.
- Engage clients in light exercise and activities to promote physical well-being.
- Offer companionship and engage in meaningful conversations with clients.
- Assist with grooming and dressing as needed.
- Perform essential household tasks such as laundry, linen service, and light cleaning.
- Accompany clients on errands or appointments as required.
- Plan and participate in recreational activities to enhance client enjoyment and social interaction.
- Document any changes in the client's physical condition, behavior, or needs promptly and accurately.

Lifting Requirements: Ability to perform the following tasks if necessary:
- Participate in physical activities as required.
- Work for extended periods while standing and engaging in physical activity.
- Lift heavy objects safely and effectively.
- Perform extensive bending, lifting, and standing on a regular basis.
