Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Neurodiagnostic Technologist to join our team at Grady Health System. This role is perfect for a skilled healthcare professional who wants to utilize their expertise in neurodiagnostic procedures and equipment.

About the Role

The Neurodiagnostic Technologist prepares patients for various neurodiagnostic tests, including electroencephalograms (EEG). The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be able to work independently, and possess a thorough understanding of neurodiagnostic equipment and procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for neurodiagnostic tests, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process
  • Determine proper procedures for testing, utilizing knowledge of neurodiagnostic equipment and techniques
  • Collect patient information pertinent to test interpretation, collaborating with healthcare professionals as needed
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information, test results, and other relevant data
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • One year of experience in healthcare or a related field
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support Health Care Provider certification
  • Ability to work one week on call rotation
