As an Automotive Manager at Car-X, you will play a crucial role in fostering lasting relationships with our customers. More importantly, you will collaborate with a team dedicated to delivering exceptional customer experiences, utilizing your professional expertise to care for both individuals and their vehicles, ensuring our customers enjoy safe and reliable transportation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales objectives by assisting in the creation and execution of sales strategies, possessing thorough knowledge of Lube and Tire services along with other automotive products.
  • Introduce tire and service offerings to customers to enhance sales and build customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Support team members in establishing and maintaining a productive sales environment by training and developing staff on all operational and customer service aspects.
  • Ensure effective staffing of the store by managing the recruitment, hiring, training, scheduling, evaluation, discipline, and development of employees.
  • Control expenses through the management of payroll, telephone usage, store maintenance, supplies, utilities, and other controllable costs.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in the automotive field and a technical school certificate/degree/ASE Certifications.
  • 4+ years of experience in Automotive Tire Sales and Service or Lube and Tire industry experience.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Ability to work with hands overhead, stand for extended periods, and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong communication skills, a business-oriented mindset, and basic algebra skills for calculating figures such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
  • A focus on customer and team satisfaction.
