Campus Overview

Kettering Health Main Campus has been the primary hospital serving the Kettering and Greater Dayton area since 1964. It provides specialized services such as a Heart Hospital, NICU, and Emergency Care. The facility has been recognized for its commitment to patient safety, baby-friendly practices, and exceptional patient experiences.

Responsibilities & Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • The RN delivers nursing care to patients in collaboration with healthcare professionals
  • Responsible for ongoing professional development and practice within the legal scope of nursing
  • Serves as a patient advocate to ensure safe care delivery and engages in quality improvement initiatives
  • Embodies the organization's values and philosophies in nursing practice
  • Required to work 2 weekend shifts each week
  • This is a full-time role that includes medical benefits and Paid Time Off

Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

  • Active Ohio RN license
  • At least 12 months of experience in acute care nursing
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred
  • BLS certification is mandatory
  • Additional certifications as required by the unit's scope of practice
