Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Optician to join our team at our San Diego-based optical boutique. As an Optician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, advising on eyewear products, and ensuring a high level of quality and satisfaction for our patients.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice on lens options, frames, and other eyewear products.
  • Conduct pre-testing for eye exams and other vision tests.
  • Assist customers with adjusting and fitting their eyeglasses or contact lenses.
  • Process customer orders and payments.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer information and transactions.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years of experience as an Optician or in a related role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks.

Salary Range: $55,000 - $75,000 per year, depending on experience.
