Key Responsibilities:- Perform various service duties and routine technical tasks under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Assist with vital signs, activities of daily living, and other patient care tasks.
- Participate in department and organizational education programs, meetings, and committees.
- Commit to personal and professional development to adapt effectively to ongoing change.
- Present a positive and professional image to represent nursing and the organization.
- Follow the care plan as established and delegated by the Registered Nurse.
- Ensure a culture of safety and identify and report malfunctioning or expired equipment and supplies.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Valid Maryland CNA license required.
- Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- One year of current experience in a hospital environment with strong computer skills.
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic calculations.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English effectively.
Biweekly weekends, 7pm-7am hour shifts per week, with rotating holiday schedules.
