The Assistant Project Accountant RoleAs an Assistant Project Accountant, you will assist the Project Accountant in providing financial services to the project, including contract review, billings, work-in-place reporting, subcontractor and general condition payments, and cash reporting.
Your Key Responsibilities- Financial Services: Assist with preparing and posting monthly progress billings, ensuring adherence to all contractual billing requirements.
- Productivity Rate Tracking: Update and distribute weekly Productivity Rate tracking spreadsheets.
- Cash Position Analysis: Support the preparation of cash position/projection analysis.
- Audit Billings: Provide support for periodically auditing billings on projects to ensure all costs have been submitted for payment.
- Cost at Completion Estimates: Assist operations in preparing monthly cost-at-completion estimates.
- Monthly Review Meetings: Participate in monthly cost-at-completion review meetings with Operations and Finance.
- Finance Knowledge: Familiarity with Oracle Enterprise Business Suite or other enterprise-level finance packages preferred.
- Prioritization and Time Management: Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, changing priorities as necessary.
- Communication Skills: Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Teamwork and Collaboration: Teamwork and collaboration with all levels of employees, vendors, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Competitive Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
