Role OverviewAs the Senior Analyst of FP&A, you will play a crucial role in the financial success of Trial Library. Collaborating closely with senior management and operational teams, you will ensure robust financial processes and tools are established to optimize revenue while maintaining a vigilant focus on operating expenses.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the financial budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Develop and manage the company’s revenue cycle, including invoicing and payment procedures.
- Prepare financial performance reports and P&L updates for senior management and the Board of Directors.
- Analyze and monitor key financial performance metrics such as profitability, margins, cash flow, COGS, and operating expenses.
- Conduct financial scenario analyses to support strategic decision-making by senior management.
- Perform variance analysis to identify significant causes of business performance deviations.
- Assist in creating pro forma analyses and business cases for investments aimed at driving revenue and EBITDA growth.
Education: A Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related business field is required. An MBA is preferred but not mandatory.
Experience: A minimum of 7 years of financial and analytical experience is essential, ideally within the pharmaceutical clinical trials, biotech, healthcare research, or healthtech sectors.
Skills:
- Intellectual curiosity to analyze business challenges and understand underlying performance drivers.
- Hands-on experience with accounts receivable, invoicing, and revenue cycle management processes.
- Strong leadership and organizational capabilities, with the ability to work collaboratively or independently in a dynamic startup environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in data analysis, financial modeling, and evaluating financial outcomes.
- Familiarity with systems such as MS Excel, Google Sheets, NetSuite, and Monday.com is advantageous.
