Cross Country Allied is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist for a travel job in a skilled nursing facility.

As a Speech Language Pathologist in a skilled nursing facility, you will help patients with swallowing, speaking, understanding, and other speech-related tasks they need to function. You will review medical histories, develop and implement speech therapy treatment plans, recommend equipment, monitor patient progress, and more. You will play a critical role in helping patients who are ill, injured, or disabled regain independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities:

  • Review medical histories and develop speech therapy treatment plans
  • Implement speech therapy treatment plans and monitor patient progress
  • Recommend equipment and supplies for speech therapy
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of recent experience as a Speech Language Pathologist in a skilled nursing facility
  • Degree in relevant field
  • BLS Certification (AHA)
  • Current state license
