Job Title: Web Development Specialist

Fenway Health is seeking a skilled Web Development Specialist to support the design, development, and maintenance of its online properties. The successful candidate will work closely with the Communications team and other staff members to advance the organization's mission.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, troubleshoot, and maintain web-based solutions that support Fenway's mission-oriented goals and marketing efforts.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of WordPress, design & development software, web applications, and components, and web hosting management tools.
  • Optimize the user experience and ensure ADA compliance and screen reader compatibility of online properties.
  • Support search engine optimization and Google Analytics analysis and reporting.
  • Provide internal technical support for web-based solutions, including websites, applications, and email communications.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 4 years of professional web management experience.
  • Demonstrated front-end web development skills & ability to code HTML5, CSS3, PHP, jQuery & JavaScript, and ability to integrate APIs within these systems.
  • Basic understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and solutions.
  • Experience working with a mobile-first/responsive design approach.
  • Familiarity with online ADA compliance and screen reader compatibility.
  • Experience with Google analytics and SEO.
Preferred Requirements:
  • Minimum of bachelor's degree or equivalent life experience.
  • Experience working with WordPress; familiarity with Elementor, ACF, and Crocoblock is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Adobe applications, including Photoshop, Illustrator, or other design software, like Canva, is preferred.
