The ideal candidate will exhibit strong leadership qualities, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to convey complex technical concepts to a diverse audience, ranging from business leaders to technical teams. Proficiency in designing secure, scalable, and resilient distributed systems is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

As a member of the Domain leadership team, you will:

  • Contribute to the formulation of technology strategies and influence the overall technological direction.
  • Assume responsibility for all architectural functions within the domain.
  • Engage with various stakeholders and architects to foster consensus on technology initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive Business Capability map for the domain.
  • Create and sustain the Technology Strategy, including current and future state architectures.
  • Participate actively in cross-domain architectural discussions.
  • Support solution architecture efforts by producing high-level and detailed design documents.
  • Perform additional tasks as directed by the Domain Architecture Leader.

Accountabilities:

Responsibilities are categorized based on time allocation:

  • Domain Leadership Engagement (10%): Collaborate with the domain leadership team to drive technology strategy and validate the feasibility of proposals.
  • Engagement on Domain OKRs and Projects (15%): Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and ensure compliance with architectural standards.
  • Supporting Solution Architecture (15%): Partner with Solution Architects to validate designs and provide mentorship.
  • Business Capabilities and Target State Architecture (15%): Conduct capability assessments and develop relevant capability heatmaps.
  • Documentation of Key Decisions (15%): Record decisions, risks, and stakeholder consensus on design discussions.
  • Architecture Governance (20%): Oversee design presentations and ensure adherence to gating criteria.
  • Cross-Domain Collaboration (10%): Work with other architects to identify and address cross-domain design impacts.
