Position Details

We are currently seeking qualified ICU Travel Registered Nurses to provide high-quality care in various settings.

Compensation: $2,246 weekly pay

Contract Duration: 13 Weeks | 36 Hours | Nights

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and document vital signs accurately.
  • Gather comprehensive patient histories and collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans.
  • Perform triage while considering both physical and psychosocial factors.
  • Stabilize patients in critical condition until the attending physician arrives, adhering to nursing standards and protocols.
  • Administer prescribed medications and monitor for adverse reactions in accordance with established policies.
  • Provide IV therapy and basic bedside care, ensuring the availability of necessary medical supplies and equipment.
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to deliver optimal patient care.
  • Initiate and execute patient education plans as directed by the physician.
  • Educate patients on managing their conditions, including post-treatment care, nutrition, and rehabilitation.
  • Maintain professionalism while managing multiple urgent tasks efficiently.
  • Document all care information accurately and in a timely manner.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role (floating experience not applicable) - Required
  • Comfortable with EKG interpretation - Required
  • Experience in Neuro, CVICU, or Trauma settings - Preferred
  • Experience managing ventilators - Preferred
  • Experience with CRRT and Balloon Pumps - Preferred
  • Willingness to float to similar units - Required
Certifications
  • ACLS Certification
  • BLS Certification
Licensure
  • Valid Michigan State License
Additional Requirements
  • Availability for every other weekend shifts
  • No on-call duties required
