About the Venue:

We are excited to announce the upcoming opening of a luxury boutique hotel, featuring 50 exquisite guest rooms, an upscale Italian dining establishment, a coffee bar and retail shop, and a health and beauty spa. This property is strategically located near a prominent university, and we are on the lookout for passionate and skilled individuals to join our expanding team and contribute to the success of this unique establishment.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Coffee Service Associate, you will be responsible for:

  • Crafting, preparing, and serving coffee beverages according to established recipes while accurately recording drink orders.
  • Delivering food and beverage orders to guests at the bar, processing payments, and reporting gratuities in compliance with IRS standards.
  • Ensuring cleanliness throughout the bar area, including the coffee station, and maintaining all glassware.
  • Assisting with the restocking and replenishment of bar supplies, while promptly reporting any equipment issues to management.
  • Maintaining cleanliness of tables, chairs, counters, and other surfaces throughout the café.
  • Engaging with guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
  • Managing product rotation to ensure freshness and quality.
  • Working a schedule that typically includes weekdays, with occasional flexibility required.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
  • A positive attitude and a willingness to collaborate with team members.
  • At least 18 years of age and a minimum of one year of relevant experience in a restaurant or similar environment.
  • Effective communication skills with managers, colleagues, and guests.
  • A flexible schedule to accommodate morning, weekend, and holiday shifts.
  • The ability to stand and walk for extended periods, with occasional bending, lifting, or carrying.
