Job Summary

Country Pure Foods is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment and machinery, including engines, motors, pneumatic tools, and conveyor systems.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of equipment to identify potential issues and implement preventative maintenance measures.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to prioritize and plan work activities, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Initiate purchase orders for parts and materials, working within approved budgets and conserving organizational resources.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and security procedures, using equipment and materials properly and reporting any potential hazards.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or technical certification preferred.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in mechanical equipment repair and maintenance, preferably in a food or beverage manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including engines, motors, and pneumatic tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of inventory and maintenance-related software.
