Job Summary

COMHAR's Long Term Structured Residences (LTSR) is seeking a skilled and compassionate Nursing Professional to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary treatment team, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals with psychiatric and health-related needs.

Responsibilities
  • Administer medications, supervise self-administration, and inject medications as prescribed.
  • Provide education to residents on their medications and assist them in becoming self-administering.
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary treatment team meetings and Quality Improvement Program.
  • Report crises and unusual incidents to the Nurse Manager and LTSR Director.
  • Comply with internal and external requirements and regulations regarding record keeping.
  • Lead activities with residents, including educational, social, and leisure programs.
Requirements
  • Current nursing license
  • Valid driver's license
  • Valid PA State Criminal, FBI (based on residency outside of PA), Child Abuse clearances
  • ACT 31
  • CPR w/AED & First Aid certification
