Software Development Role:

Capgemini is looking for an experienced Java Spring boot Developer to join our development team in Philadelphia, PA. As a key contributor, you will be responsible for designing and implementing complex software systems using Java 8 and the Spring Boot framework. Your expertise in microservices architecture, database management, and REST API development will be essential in delivering high-quality applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable microservices architectures
  • Develop and maintain robust REST APIs using Spring Boot
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify requirements and develop solutions
  • Work closely with QA engineers to ensure seamless integration and testing
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving overall code quality

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in related application development
  • Strong understanding of Java 8, Spring, and Spring Boot
  • Experience with database management (Oracle or PostgreSQL)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines

Compensation: The estimated salary range for this position is $140,000 - $180,000 per year
