Job Summary

Actalent is seeking a highly skilled Biological Specimen Processing Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for processing, debridement, packaging, and labeling of human tissue products intended for surgical transplantation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform processing, debridement, packaging, labeling, and shipment of finished product.
  • Utilize specialized techniques, instrumentation, and equipment to clean and size tissue to specifications and protocols.
  • Assist Team Lead with efforts in maintaining inventory levels on the core and dock for receiving supplies.
  • Perform lab cleaning activities as required by policies, protocols, procedures, and SOPs.
  • Correctly complete production documentation as required in nerve processing in accordance with standard operating procedures and quality standards.
  • Assist with production records as needed.
  • Comply with all company policies, procedures, and SOPs.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience handling specimens of some kind or experience in a laboratory setting.
