Join Newport Healthcare as a Primary Therapist and be part of a team dedicated to providing compassionate care based on authentic connection, mutual respect, and unconditional love.

As a Primary Therapist, you will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, facilitate individual, family, and group therapies, and provide clinical support to the program as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

* Communicate proactively as the clinical point of contact with families
* Facilitate individual, family, and group therapies within the framework of Newport Healthcare's clinical model and Attachment-Based Family Therapy
* Complete risk assessment and initial safety plan upon admission and biopsychosocial assessment and treatment plan within timeline requirements
* Coordinate treatment goals and services in collaboration with client's treatment team, with 30-day treatment plan reviews and updates
* Complete documentation (assessments, treatment plans, progress, group notes, contact notes and discharge summaries) timely and according to established standards
* Conduct risk or crisis assessments and provides intervention/management as needed
* Attend weekly treatment team meetings, staff meetings, and clinical supervision
* Enter and save data accurately within Word, Outlook (email and calendaring), EMR, and online learning
* Attend meetings, trainings, and conferences representing Newport Healthcare as needed

Qualifications:

* Master's Degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or related field or enrollment in Doctorate program from an accredited or state approved graduate school required
* Licensed or ability to transfer license in Marriage Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, or Clinical Psychologist in the state in which services are provided
* Experience with individual, family, and/or group therapy with young adults/adolescents
* Experience with mental health, substance abuse, eating disorders, or trauma-informed treatment preferred
