Banner Health is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Preoperative and Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) team. As a critical care nurse, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and Plan Care: Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Implement and Evaluate Care: Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patient responses. Evaluate the effectiveness of care plans and make adjustments as needed.
- Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Team: Work closely with physicians, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide Education and Support: Educate patients and their families on post-operative care, medication management, and other relevant topics. Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and their loved ones.
- Current RN License: Must possess a current, valid RN license in the state of practice.
- Experience: At least one year of experience in a critical care or perioperative setting.
- Certifications: BLS certification and any other relevant certifications for the position.
