Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Infrastructure Automation: Collaborate with development teams to automate and streamline deployment pipelines using Python, Kubernetes, and Ansible.
  • CI/CD Process Enhancement: Maintain and enhance our Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes with a focus on GitLab, ensuring smooth code integration and delivery.
  • System Performance Monitoring: Monitor and troubleshoot system performance, ensuring high availability and efficient resource utilization.
  • Log Management and Monitoring: Utilize ElasticSearch to enhance logging, monitoring, and analytics capabilities.
  • Cloud Architecture: Contribute to the architecture and design of our AWS-based infrastructure, ensuring security and scalability best practices.
Requirements
  • Technical Skills: GitLab and GitLab runners, Python, Kubernetes, Ansible, ElasticSearch, AWS.
  • Desired Skills: System Admin or DevOps experience, ElasticSearch, AWS, and Cloud Systems Administration.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
  • Certifications: Cloud Systems Administrator or Developer Certification.
  • Experience: Fourteen (14) years of experience in software development/engineering, including requirements analysis, software development, installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, testing, and problem diagnosis/resolution.
  • Additional Requirements: Ten (10) years experience in system engineering/architecture, ten (10) years experience working with products that support highly distributed, massively parallel computation needs, and at least ten (10) years experience writing software scripts using scripting languages.
