Job Title: Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in a Progressive Care Unit setting. As a travel nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Job Summary:

This 13-week travel assignment offers a unique opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art facility, providing care to patients with complex medical needs. As a Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care Unit, you will be responsible for assessing patients, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patients' responses to interventions.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring patient-centered care and optimal outcomes.
  • Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to address them.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members, ensuring clear and concise information exchange.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
Requirements:
  • One to three years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a Progressive Care Unit setting.
  • Current RN licensure and certification in the state of practice.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with the healthcare team.
  • Physical ability to lift, move, and position patients, as well as stand for long periods.
