About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Beauty Advisor to join our team at Sephora. As a Beauty Advisor, you will play a key role in creating personalized experiences for our clients, helping them discover the power of beauty and achieve their beauty goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Personalized Beauty Consultations: Conduct in-depth consultations with clients to understand their beauty needs and preferences, and recommend products and services that meet their individual requirements.
  • Demonstrate Product Application: Showcase your expertise in makeup techniques and skincare routines, and provide demonstrations to clients to help them achieve their desired look.
  • Stay Current with Beauty Trends: Stay up-to-date with the latest beauty trends and new products at Sephora, and share your knowledge with clients to help them make informed purchasing decisions.
  • Deliver Exceptional Client Service: Create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all clients, and provide exceptional service to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Participate in Sales and Promotional Events: Participate in sales events and promotions to drive sales and increase revenue.
  • BOPIS and Client Service: Provide excellent client service when clients arrive to pick up their orders, and ensure a smooth and efficient experience.
  • Maintain Store Environment: Help maintain a clean, well-stocked, and smoothly operating store environment, and ensure that all areas of the store are well-maintained and organized.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Prior Work Experience: Prior equivalent work experience in retail, preferably in a beauty-related field.
  • Passion for Client Service and Beauty: A genuine passion for client service and beauty, and a desire to help others achieve their beauty goals.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to effectively communicate with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to Multitask: The ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively, and to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Resilience and Adaptability: The ability to react to situations in the moment, and to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Flexible Availability: Flexible availability to work during peak retail hours, and to meet the needs of the business.
  • Consistent and Reliable Attendance: Consistent and reliable attendance, and a commitment to being on time and ready to work.
  • Ability to Lift and Carry: The ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, and to move around the store as needed.
