As a pivotal member of our team, the Security Architect will play a crucial role in fortifying Itential's technological defenses. This position involves designing, implementing, and optimizing security measures across our cloud-based services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the highest level of security for Itential's cloud offerings.
  • Lead the implementation of security solutions across all layers of our SaaS platform, including application, container, platform, data, network, and identity access management in public cloud environments.
  • Collaborate with various departments to develop and deploy security measures and initiatives.
  • Drive the security strategy to enhance our overall security posture continuously.
  • Mentor engineering teams to integrate security practices into their daily development workflows.
  • Conduct independent security assessments to identify and address vulnerabilities.
  • Respond swiftly to security incidents and coordinate with teams to mitigate risks.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS), Azure, or VMware VCF.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in Security Engineering.
  • Preferred certifications include CISSP, CISM, CISA, SANS GIAC, CGEIT, CRISC, GSEC.
  • Preferred AWS certifications include AWS Solutions Architect Professional, AWS Security Specialty, AWS Advanced Networking.
