Job Description

MACS Delivers is seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Full Time Night Driver Courier to join our team. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and safe delivery of packages to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a company vehicle to transport packages to customers in a timely and safe manner.
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Meet or exceed all deadlines with a 98% on-time accuracy.
  • Follow all local and state traffic laws in areas traveled.
  • Be familiar with the local area, roads, and landmarks.
  • Be able to read and follow directions, read a map, and safely operate a variety of vehicle types.
  • Be self-motivated and capable of driving alone for lengths of 6-10 hours at a time.
  • Drive long distances per day, 250 – 500 miles, depending on route.
  • Be able to lift (with hand truck assistance): 50 pounds.
  • Be flexible with work schedule and acceptable to change.
  • Be knowledgeable and physically able to change a tire if needed.

Requirements:

  • Basic computer skills.
  • Be able to read and write in English.
  • Possess and maintain a valid Alabama driver's license.
  • Pass Pre-Employment Drug Screen.
  • Pass / possess / maintain Department of Transportation Certificate of Medical Fitness.
  • Have reliable transportation to and from work.
  • Possess and maintain an acceptable MVR.
  • Possess and maintain a clean criminal record.
