Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated CT Imaging Specialist to join our healthcare team. This role is essential in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients.

Certification Requirements
  • Mandatory certifications include BLS, ARRT (CT), and a valid ND License.
Job Responsibilities
  • Perform CT scans as part of the imaging department.
  • Specialty focus: Computed Tomography.
  • Contract duration: 13 weeks.
Qualifications
  • Must hold ARRT (CT) certification.
  • Willingness to receive cross-training in Radiology or MRI.
  • Daily patient load may range from 5-30 on day shifts and 2-12 on night shifts.
  • 1-2 shifts of department-specific orientation will be required.
Work Schedule
  • Available shifts: 8, 10, or 12 hours.
  • Team input is encouraged for block scheduling.
  • Rotational weekend and holiday shifts are expected.
  • Night shifts: Monday to Thursday, with first to float responsibilities.
Department Information
  • The imaging department provides CT, Radiology, and potentially MRI services.
  • Successful technologists demonstrate flexibility and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Must maintain a positive attitude while interacting with patients and healthcare providers.
Additional Information
  • EMR and PACS systems utilized: Meditech.
  • Department equipment includes Siemens CT and X-ray machines, Philips MRI (transitioning to Siemens in the near future), Digirad NM, and Philips Ultrasound.
  • Our facility operates as a critical access hospital, offering 24/7 CT and X-ray services without on-call duties unless in cases of illness or staffing shortages.
  • Radius Rule: 50 miles. Candidates must not be engaged in full-time, part-time, or PRN roles with any facilities associated with CommonSpirit.
  • Requests for time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront (7 days or fewer per 13-week contract). Additional RTO requests will not be accommodated after submission.
