Job Summary:
Nemours is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse for our 4 West Unit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement the patient care delivery model for patients and their families.
- Assess, plan, provide, and evaluate care provided to assigned patients.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality, high-value patient care within a 72-hour time frame.
- Utilize state-of-the-art technology, including cardiorespiratory bedside monitors and electronic medical records, to inform patient care decisions.
- Administer medications using barcoding technology to ensure patient safety.
- Participate in family-centered care rounds to ensure an interprofessional approach and partnership with patients and families.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- BSN preferred, must complete BSN within three years of hire.
- Inpatient experience preferred.
- Eligible for Delaware State license (or compact license).
- BLS certification with the American Heart Association.
