Valid Teaching Certificate for Michigan. Proven understanding of effective instructional methodologies and evidence-based intervention strategies implemented within a Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS).

Reports To:
Building Principal

Job Goal:

To evaluate assessment data and deliver timely, research-based interventions in core subject areas for students identified as needing additional support.


Key Responsibilities:
1. Collect, organize, and analyze assessment data for students identified for Title I support.
2.

Implement effective instructional strategies and utilize evidence-based intervention materials tailored to the learning requirements of Title I students.

3. Demonstrate intervention techniques within the classroom to both general and special education instructors.
4.

Review existing student performance data and administer assessments to monitor the progress of Title I students.

5. Participate in the building-level MTSS team, attending regular meetings to analyze data and provide leadership in collaboration with the building administrator.
6. Work alongside classroom educators, administrators, and families to design appropriate MTSS interventions.
7. Maintain precise records of student performance, parent communications, and progress reports as mandated by Title I regulations and district policies.
8.

Engage in professional development opportunities that enhance instructional practices and support the implementation of effective intervention programs.

9. Adhere to district policies and guidelines.
10. Uphold professional conduct as outlined in the Certified Staff Handbook.
11. Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by the Building Administrator.
12. Ensure confidentiality of all personal, student, or personnel information.

Requirements:
Must possess either a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or an associate degree in Early Childhood Education, along with CPR/First Aid certification.
