Salary

National Retail Transportation offers a competitive salary for this part-time seasonal position:
$36/hour (1st shift), $37/hour (2nd shift)

Job Description

• Movement and Coordination: Safely operate switcher trucks to move trailers within the facility, coordinating with dispatch and yard personnel to prioritize trailer movements.
• Inspection and Reporting: Inspect trailers for damage and report any issues to maintenance.
• Loading and Unloading: Maneuver trailers into loading docks for loading and unloading.
• Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of trailer movements and locations.
• Communication: Communicate effectively with other drivers and yard personnel.

Requirements

• Licensing and Experience: Class A CDL, 1 year of experience, safe driving record.
• Physical Demands: Ability to lift 50lbs, operate vehicles safely in a fast-paced environment.
• Personal Qualities: Good communication skills, teamwork abilities, attention to detail, physical stamina for prolonged periods of sitting and operating vehicles.
