Compensation Package

This Critical Care Paramedic position offers a competitive hourly wage based on experience, ranging from $18 to $25 per hour. Additionally, we provide an excellent benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, a 401(k)-retirement plan, holiday pay, paid time off (PTO), basic and supplemental AD&D, short- and long-term disability, tuition assistance, career development opportunities, and various shift options.

The estimated annual salary for this role is around $40,000 to $55,000, depending on experience and work schedule.


Job Description

As a Critical Care Paramedic with Allegiance Mobile Health, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care according to your competencies and the Medical Director's authorization and protocols.

You will respond to emergency and non-emergency calls 24 hours a day, using GPS navigation and following written or verbal directions to ensure efficient and safe response times.

Upon arrival, you will help provide critical care to patients, often requiring lifting, carrying, transporting, and extricating them without assistance.

Excellent customer service skills are essential, as you will interact respectfully with multiple outside agencies and provide professional communication with patients, victims, and the general public.

You will maintain accurate and detailed patient care reports, billing information, and all other associated documentation in a timely manner.

Your duties will also include daily vehicle and supply checklists, assisting with vehicle re-supply, decontamination, and general readiness-related tasks.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • High school diploma
  • Certified as an EMT in the State of Texas
  • CPR certification
  • Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) or International Trauma Life Support (ITLS) training
  • Valid Texas driver's license and insurable driving record
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 125 lbs. independently
  • Customer service skills

Work Schedule

This Critical Care Paramedic position offers a variety of schedules, including 8-hour shifts, 12-hour shifts, 24-hour shifts, and 48-hour shifts.
