Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Stockroom Associate to join our team at Hannaford. As a Stockroom Associate, you will be responsible for receiving and processing merchandise, maintaining inventory levels, and ensuring that our store shelves are fully stocked and visually appealing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and process incoming merchandise, verifying quantities and reporting any discrepancies
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels, including tracking and rotating stock
  • Restock shelves and displays to ensure a visually appealing store environment
  • Assist customers with finding items and provide excellent customer service
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, meeting productivity standards and maintaining a high level of quality workmanship
Requirements
  • Effective communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Physical ability to lift up to 20 pounds regularly and 60 pounds occasionally, as well as stand and walk for long periods
  • Ability to work in a team environment and maintain a positive attitude
Preferred Requirements
  • Previous experience in a stockroom or warehouse environment
  • Knowledge of inventory management systems and procedures
  • Ability to use computers and communication systems required to perform job functions
