Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management: Provide strategic direction and oversight to nursing units, ensuring high-quality patient care and staff development.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory and accreditation requirements, maintaining a culture of compliance and excellence.
- Staff Development and Training: Conduct hiring, training, and evaluation of staff, fostering a culture of growth and development.
- Patient Care and Services: Identify and resolve issues affecting patient care services, ensuring timely and effective delivery of health services.
- Financial Management: Monitor and adhere to budget, approving or monitoring expenditures, purchases, and other actions to ensure compliance with budget guidelines.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
- Experience: Two years' registered nurse experience, with demonstrated progressive leadership responsibility, or one year of registered nurse experience plus one year of relevant leadership experience.
- Licensure and Certifications: Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA) and Registered Professional Nurse (RN) - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR), or equivalent certifications in other states.
