Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop, implement, and monitor a comprehensive patient safety program, promoting a culture of safety and excellence.
  • Coordinate and manage patient safety data collection and submission, analyzing and summarizing data to inform leadership and staff.
  • Conduct patient safety walk rounds, manage the Patient Safety Hotline, and analyze event data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for various committees, providing recommendations for quality and risk management strategies.
  • Serve as a liaison and resource to leadership and staff on patient safety matters, quality improvement initiatives, and other relevant activities.
  • Conduct literature reviews and communicate effective patient safety strategies to staff, participating in research and special studies as needed.
  • Participate in internal and external quality assurance and performance improvement activities, training, and events.

Requirements
  • Master's degree in Public Health, Public Administration, or a related field, with 2 years of experience in patient safety and quality improvement, or a Bachelor's degree with 3 years of experience.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with leadership and staff.
  • Experience with patient safety data collection and analysis, as well as quality improvement initiatives.
