Radiation Oncology Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team at our Radiation Oncology Center in Tacoma. As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform radiation therapy treatments using linear accelerators or other radiation equipment
- Ensure accurate patient positioning and treatment delivery
- Monitor and assess patient reactions to treatment and report any issues to the oncologist
- Maintain detailed records of treatment plans, progress, and outcomes
- Educate patients on treatment procedures and possible side effects
- Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy or related field
- Current certification as a Radiation Therapist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent certification
- Proficiency in medical imaging techniques and equipment
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Experience in acute care or critical care settings preferred
- Familiarity with radiation therapy modalities including mammography and CT scans
This role offers a competitive salary of $60.00 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package, including 401(k), dental insurance, employee assistance program, flexible spending account, health insurance, health savings account, life insurance, paid time off, referral program, relocation assistance, and vision insurance.
Relocation assistance is provided for candidates who are not already in the Seattle/Tacoma area.
