Pharmacist Specialist

About the Job: As a pharmacist at Walgreens, you will play a critical role in providing healthcare services to our customers. With a strong focus on patient care and satisfaction, you will work closely with medical providers and other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive the best possible care.

Responsibilities:

• Dispense prescribed medications and provide guidance to patients on their use
• Conduct drug therapy reviews and provide recommendations to improve patient outcomes
• Provide immunizations and other clinical services to patients
• Work with pharmacy staff to maintain accurate records and comply with regulations
• Participate in community outreach activities to promote the pharmacy business and enhance growth opportunities

Requirements:

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district
• Experience performing prescription dispensing activities that demonstrate a strong working knowledge of applicable state and federal controlled substance laws
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire

Salary: $52.00 per hour - $80.00 per hour
