ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
Before becoming a part of the Air Force, candidates must fulfill several criteria concerning their background, overall health, and other standards established by the Air Force, Department of Defense, and federal regulations.
Minimum Educational Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree or nearing completion of your degree.
- A satisfactory score on the Air Force Officer Qualifying Test (AFOQT).
- Successful completion of Officer Training School (OTS), Air Force Academy (AFA), or Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFROTC).
- Must be at least 17 years old and not exceed age 42 at the time of enlistment.
