Our North/Progressive Care Unit features 32 beds dedicated to medical/surgical and progressive care patients. Our team exemplifies outstanding collaboration in a dynamic patient flow environment. We work in close partnership with physicians, case management, and therapy teams to ensure a comprehensive approach to care. The most prevalent diagnoses in our unit include pneumonia, chest pain evaluations, and strokes. Job Responsibilities

The RN Clinical Nurse I delivers professional nursing care through thorough assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation in line with facility or departmental policies and protocols under the guidance of the nursing leadership. This role involves maintaining a safe work environment and executing all job responsibilities safely. The RN will also uphold clinical and professional competencies relevant to the patient population served.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Physical Requirements
This position requires the ability to walk, stand, sit, lift, reach, stoop, bend, push, and pull. Candidates must be capable of lifting and supporting weights of up to 35 pounds when handling patients, medical equipment, and supplies. Proficiency in English is required for effective communication. Candidates should possess intact senses of sight, hearing, smell, and touch, along with finger dexterity. Critical thinking and the ability to concentrate are essential, as is the capacity to respond swiftly to changes in patient and unit conditions. Physical abilities testing is mandatory.

Qualifications
Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing is required, with a BSN preferred. Current Basic Life Support certification is required per policy guidelines. Candidates must hold a current RN license or a temporary license as a Registered Nurse Petitioner in the state of employment, or if applicable, meet the licensure requirements in their home state for National License Compact (NLC) states.
