Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Endoscopy Nurse Specialist to join our team at CHRISTUS Health. This role is ideal for a registered nurse with a passion for delivering high-quality patient care in an endoscopy setting.

About the Role:

This position offers a rewarding opportunity to work closely with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to provide compassionate and personalized care. As an Endoscopy Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing individualized care plans, and implementing evidence-based practices to ensure optimal outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess patient needs and develop comprehensive care plans to address physical, emotional, and social requirements.
  • Deliver high-quality patient care through direct and indirect interventions, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams as needed.
  • Monitor patient progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing revisions to care plans as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to relevant laws and regulations.

Requirements and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess a strong foundation in nursing principles and practices, with a focus on endoscopy-specific skills and knowledge. You should have a minimum of two years of experience in a hospital setting, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional patient care and working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.

Education and Certifications:

  • Graduate of a State Board School of Nursing or equivalent.
  • Current license or permit to practice professional nursing in the State of Texas.
  • CPR certification within two weeks of employment.
  • Medication Competence within two weeks of employment.
  • Computer Competence within four weeks of employment.

Estimated Salary Range: $65,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a competitive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.
