Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Senior Benefits Analyst to join our team in Richardson, TX. This role is pivotal in delivering extensive analytical support and managing the daily operations of the organization's benefit offerings, with a primary focus on retirement plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the management of retirement plans ensuring adherence to plan documentation and regulatory requirements, while meeting critical annual processing timelines, including valuation processes, external audits, mailings, government filings, and invoice management.
- Provide guidance to employees and HR Business Partners regarding retirement planning inquiries.
- Develop and implement the Financial Wellness Education strategy through effective communication initiatives, event organization, and collaboration with offsite teams, catering to diverse audiences.
- Analyze and identify unusual trends, compile data, and prepare operational and financial reports related to assigned plans.
- Investigate and resolve inquiries or issues between plan participants and designated plans by collaborating with providers and third-party administrators to ensure prompt customer service.
- Collaborate with the Lead Analyst to assess current benefits and processes, industry trends, and legislative changes, and present actionable recommendations to management.
- Assist with various projects across the Company Benefits functions, which may encompass annual enrollment activities, employee communications, vendor evaluations, and more.
- Foster collaborative relationships with colleagues to effectively contribute to team objectives and promote a positive workplace culture.
Qualifications:
Requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience required.
Prior experience in 401(k) retirement plan administration is preferred.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a focus on enhancing workflow efficiency and productivity.
Experience in organizational communications, effective presentations, and developing communication strategies.
Strong customer service orientation.
Meticulous attention to detail.
Proficient in HRIS systems (SAP) and Microsoft Office; advanced Excel skills preferred.
