We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Arden Courts ProMedica Memory Care Palos Heights. As a LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents and supervising nursing personnel to ensure the delivery of exceptional care.
Responsibilities:- Supervise nursing personnel to deliver nursing care and coordinate care delivery to ensure residents' needs are met.
- Responsible for reading thermometers, charts, and testing equipment, as well as reading, writing, and speaking English in an understandable manner.
- Must have 2-3 years of clinical experience, with gerontological nursing experience, including dementia population, preferred.
- Must have a valid and current LPN/LVN state license.
The LPN must be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, and squat for prolonged periods, as well as push and pull objects and lift and carry up to 20 pounds, unassisted, on a frequent basis.
The LPN must also have full use of gross and fine motor skills of the upper and lower extremities, including treatments, dressing changes, medication supervision, and writing notations.
