We are seeking a compassionate and caring Resident Assistant to join our team. As a Resident Assistant, you will have the opportunity to interact with Residents and fellow Caregivers daily, aiding with daily tasks in a supportive and respectful manner.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide individualized care and attention to our Residents
- Assist Residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, and eating
- Assist with Resident move-ins and move-outs
- Observe and communicate changes in Resident behavior or condition
- Report and document incidents
- Practice good infection control and maintain a clean and safe environment
- Know and follow Emergency Procedures
- Complete all required training and maintain confidentiality of Resident information
- Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with a valid NA certificate or equivalent
- Must meet state licensing requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must pass a background check and have a reliable mode of transportation
- Documented TB screening and CPR/First Aid training within 60 days of employment
- Self-starter with minimal supervision required
